Modern Timesheet: Incorrect Time Period Open Status

Issue/Introduction

Although time periods are closed in the Classic UI > Administration Menu, Project Management, Time Reporting Periods

The Modern 'My Timesheet' label for closed time period still shows 'Open'

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Go to Classic UI > Administration Menu, Project Management, Time Reporting Periods
2. Filter for 'Closed' time periods
3. Go to Modern Timesheets > 'My Timesheets' carousel

Expected: The Modern 'My Timesheet' label should match /reflect the the time period status of 'Closed'

Actual: The Modern 'My Timesheet' label for closed time period still shows 'Open'

Environment

Release : 16.1.0

Resolution

This behaviour was reported as DE67919.

However, after review it was determined that the carousel should only be showing the timesheet status and not the time period status if the period was closed. If a time period is closed once you click on that specific time period you will see the message that the time period is closed.

In this example note that the Jan 9th time period is closed. However you will see that the timesheet shows Open. When clicking on the timesheet the body states the time period is closed.

This change in behaviour will be noticeable from version 16.1.0. It was implemented as part of a fix for DE67016.
