Linux clients are not reporting to SEPM

Issue/Introduction

Newly installed 14.3 RU5 Linux clients are failing to update and show in the SEPM.

 

Environment

Release: 14.3 RU5

Cause

 When Linux clients are integrated with LDAP or Active Directory, the local agent installer may fail to create these required accounts, preventing communication with SEPM.

Resolution

Verify and create the sisips and dcscaf users and groups exist.

1. Verify sisips user and group exist.
2. Create dcscaf user and group.
3. Add dcscaf and sisips to the dcscaf group.
4. Add dcscaf to the sisips group.
