Broadcom licensing team provided a license that a customer is unable to install successfully with SIM. The following error is returned:
The license file 'xxx.slf' is not valid.
ITMS 8.6
The .slf license was for a product other than IT Management (ITMS)
Symantec Installation Manager (SIM) fails with this message (The license file 'xxx.slf' is not valid) when the license is not for ITMS. Got a valid ITMS license and SIM then correctly installed it.
