Issue/Introduction

During installation of Database Management Solutions for Db2 for z/OS, the Post Install Object Comparison job (ssid0000) fails with error RMA016E
indicating a CALL ATTACH failure indicating maximum threads have been reached:

RMA016E - CALL ATTACH FAILURE MAX THREADS

Resolution

The MAXTHREADS parameter within hlq.CDBAPARM member MIGRATOR should be modified from 10 threads to 2. This will reduce the amount
of multi-tasking that is being done. This is more efficient than increasing the IDBACK DSNZPARM setting which can also be an alternative means to correct the problem.
