How to view the DSM x.509 certificates and their dates?

Issue/Introduction

Authentication between different DSM systems happens using x.509 certificates. How can we check the validity of these certificates and their dates?

Environment

CA Client Automation - All Versions

Resolution

You can open the certificates using MS certificate viewer which will show the valid from/to dates.
The date on the DSM x.509 certificates is 18/01/2038.
 
 
The certificates are stored under directory C:\Program Files (x86)\CA\SC\CBB\certdb in *.der files.
When we open a .der file the information of certificate is displayed and the certificate is valid until 18/01/2038
