Can we add additional filters to the portlet OBS Resource Aggregation which are not in the layout or fields?

Issue/Introduction

There are a few resource managers who would like to use the out-of-the-box Resource Planning -> Organizational Demand -> OBS Resource Aggregation portlet. I can see that is not a query-based portlet, rather that is generated using the system provider: OBS Resource Aggregation.

Is there any way to add/configure fields in that system provider? For example, if users would like to filter by Investment Type like Project vs Other work, those portlets are really helpful for the requirements.

Resolution

OBS Resource Aggregation portlet is a system provider based portlet and hence only the fields in the layout of the portlet filter can be used. There is no option to add additional fields which are not present.
