DWH Incremental Job - How long to keep it running

Issue/Introduction

Sometimes Load Data Warehouse - Incremental Job takes more than 240 min, it keeps on running. We want to cancel the job and run a Full Load. Should we allow more time for the job to process?

Resolution

• It is not recommended to cancel the Load DWH job
• The timeout set in the system is 600 minutes.
• Even if the job is slow please let it complete fully as cancelling the job from UI will not remove the queries on the database level, which can in turn slow things down or cause locks
