Robot install error: Error-setting permissions using icacls.exe windows 2019

Issue/Introduction

We have an error during robot installation on Windows 2019 OS server.

Error-setting permissions using icacls.exe  "c"\ProgramFiles\Nimsoft grant:r administrator :(F)

Release : UIM 20.3 / 20.4

Cause

Environmental

Resolution

Try running "NimBUS Robot.exe" as admistrator

We have seen this error when running nimsoft-robot-64x.exe instead. 

 

The robot installer is located in the primary hub at the location:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Nimsoft\install\setup

 

On the failed attempt, nimsoft-robot-x64.exe was used instead
