Issue/Introduction

Notifications are failing with the below error:

ErrorMsg: AwE-5123 Email error (12/13/22, 4:11 PM) 
Details: Couldn't connect to host, port: smtp.example.value , 25; timeout 30000
{mail.smtp.writetimeout=180000, mail.smtp.port=25, [email protected], mail.smtp.timeout=180000, mail.smtp.host=smtp.example.value , mail.smtp.connectiontimeout=30000}

Component : CA Automic Applications Manager (AM)

Resolution

SMTP parameters set in Applications Manager may be incorrect. Confirm that SMTP host and port values are correct.

Refer to your OS admin or SMTP admin to check the SMTP connection from the server where Applications Manager is installed.
