Issue/Introduction

How can the Batch Processor for DB2 for z/OS (RBP) print class be saved for individual users temporarily and permanently for the Database Management Solutions for DB2 for z/OS products?

Resolution

To temporarily change the RBP print class, set the OUTPUT CLASS field to the desired value on the Batch Processor Interface screen.

This value will be changed back to the default value set in the RSPINIT clist after exiting from the Database Management for Db2 for Z/OS tools and coming back in. RSPINIT found in hlq.CDBACLS0(RSPINIT).

To permanently change the print parameters perform the following steps:

  1. Select GP Global Prof. Variables from the Main Menu of the Database Management for Db2 for Z/OS Tools or issue the GP command from the command line.

  2. Select option 4 - Print Parameters.

  3. Change the print class to the desired value.
