Unable to connect to external SFTP server in GEL on GCP Clarity SaaS

Issue/Introduction

You are unable to connect to your organization's SFTP server from a clarity GEL script. When you tried to FTP the file from your clarity gel script, you are getting an error like

"Name or service not known at com.niku.union.gel.tags.ftp.OpenTag.openFTP"

or connection refused

 

 

 

Environment

Release : 16.1

Resolution

Clarity in GCP SaaS does not allow outbound FTP or SFTP.

The ports are blocked by Broadcom.
