Issue/Introduction

Is there a way to avoid the PTITLOG2 tablespace (PTI.PTLOG_MAIN_# table) from encountering an out of extents condition that can be
encountered while using the Database Management Solution for Db2 for z/OS toolset.

Resolution

The PTITLOG2 tablespace contains the Db2 tools main logging table.

A procedure is in place to clean up the logging table in which the hlq.CDBAPARM member ALOGDEL can have
the retention time reduced and the hlq.CDBAJCL member LOG#ADEL needs to be executed.
This execution can be scheduled to run at convenient time intervals.
