Cross Instance Communication Not Initiated from R12 Autosys

Issue/Introduction

We are configuring Cross Instance between R11.3.6 and R12 instance to ease R12 Migration.

From R11.3.6 Instance, jobs are getting submitted to R12, but vice versa is not happening.

Even , if we run job on R12, its not sending data to R11.3.6 Instance on job status.. No logs of communication failure is also seen.. In fact, no initiation from R12 to send logs.

Should both Instances AutoServer port should be Different ? Currently both using 9000

Resolution

After using different job names, it worked fine in both directions
