Issue/Introduction

 

Why uim_db SQL Server Transaction Log Grows Even in Simple Recovery Model (Disk Filling Up).

its filling database full [Microsoft SQL Server Native Client 11.0] The transaction log for database 'CA_UIM' is full due to 'LOG_BACKUP'.

 

Environment

UIM 20.4 CU5

MS SQLServer 2019

Resolution

Either increasing the disk space or shrinking the file using either "DBCC shrinkfile" or the SQL Enterprise Studio Admin GUI.

For UIM 20.4 for large environment , we need 2-3 TB database.
