Issue/Introduction

Since upgrading to 22.2.3 there is an event storm on the SS.

The Live Link/Live Pipe is enabled.

Why are there huge 0x10d66 and 0x10d67 event rates on the interfaces?

Environment

Release : 22.2.3

Resolution

Please contact the Broadcom Support team and request the Spectrum_22.02.03.D139b debug patch, then apply it on the SpectroSERVER machine.

Please contact the Broadcom Support team and request the Spectrum_22.02.07.D214 debug patch for Spectrum 22.2.7.

Please contact the Broadcom Support team and request the Spectrum_22.02.08.D187 debug patch for Spectrum 22.2.8.

Please contact the Broadcom Support team and request the Spectrum_22.02.09.D213 debug patch for Spectrum 22.2.9.

The resolution to this issue is included in the DX NetOps Spectrum 22.2.11 through DE567567.

Symptom:  Management Agent Lost alarms are generated every hour while polling for VRF contexts. 
Resolution:  With this fix, Spectrum ensures that the Management Agent Lost alarms are no longer generated every hour while polling for VRF contexts. (DE567567, 33448356, 22.2.11)

Additional Information

This problem is only seen on devices that use VRF (Virtual Routing and Forwarding).  If your devices are not setup to use VRF, then you will not experience this problem.

Furthermore the problem is only seen with CiscoVrfContextApp (0x21027d) models.  One way to confirm if you will be affected is to do a search for ModelTypeHandle 0x21027d, if there are no devices with this, then you should not experience this problem.
