Error count: 370 and Repair Module not available in XPSSweeper

Issue/Introduction

 

XPSSweeper command reports more than 370 errors and shows those lines:

    [3096/3476][Wed Dec 14 2022 14:39:49][DoRepair.cpp:170][RepairManager::initRepairContext][INFO][SM-REPAIR-01011] Repair Module not available for error [sm-xpsxps-03240].
    [3096/3476][Wed Dec 14 2022 14:39:49][DoRepair.cpp:173][RepairManager::initRepairContext][INFO][SM-REPAIR-01015] Error count: 370, Number of errors for which Repair Modules are available: 0, Number of errors for which Repair Modules are not available: 370.

All errors can be split into 3 categories all related to Identity Manager (Idm):

Invalid TypeID value:

Parent object .. does not exist

Environment

 

  Policy Server 12.8SP3 on Windows;
  Policy Store on CA Directory 14.0.01;

 

Resolution

 

• Take a backup of the Policy Store using OS tools or CA Directory ones;
• On the Policy Server machine, run the following command:
  
  c:\Program Files\CA\siteminder\xps\dd> XPSDDInstall IdmSmObjects.xdd
  
  
• Restart the Policy Server;
• After the restart, XPSSweeper doesn't report errors anymore:
