Before going to Z/OS 2.6, it is mandatory to change the JES2 compatibility level up to level Z22.
For this, it is necessary to set "CYL_MANAGED=ALLOWED" in JES2, to indicate that it is allowed to allocate the JES2 Checkpoint and Spool on EAV volumes.
The question is if there are any additional considerations for DISK in order to avoid potential problems.

As general information, DISK 14.0 fully supports EAV devices.
That said, as the change will eventually involve only the JES2 Checkpoint and Spool on EAV, there aren't any additional considerations for CA Disk regarding that JES change.
