IT Asset Manager ImportProcessor Utility and Encrypted Password

Issue/Introduction

The IT Asset Manager ImportProcessor.exe utility requires the user and password as a parameter. Is there a way to encrypt the password such that it is not in clear text?

Environment

CA IT Asset Manager 17.x

All Supported Operating Systems

Resolution

Currently the password used with the Import Processor utility can only be passed as plain text.

There is currently no mechanism to encrypt the password.  This would be a feature enhancement.
