Issue/Introduction

SMF load job is discarding records from INSIGHT2.APPL_PGM_DETAIL

RECORD WILL BE DISCARDED DUE TO 'DEADLOCK' CONVERSION ERROR FOR INSIGHT2.APPL_PGM_DETAIL

Deadlock column CNTL is "DEADLOCK DECIMAL NULLIF(NULLS_81_FIELDS='Y'),"

 

Environment

Release : 20.0

Resolution

The problem was caused by using HGHLVL.REQUESTS to run load job. The ARCLACDP and ARCIACDP was not using the updated versions. Copying the two members out of the HGHLVL.SOURCE and rerunning the load resolved the problem.
