Issue/Introduction

You request to know how to change the IP/Hostname listed in the Single Sign-On URLs listed on the Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) appliance.

Environment

Release : 4.7.1

Resolution

The IP/Hostname listed in the Single Sign-On URLs for EDR is obtained from the Common Name (CN) listed in the EDR certificate.  In order to change the IP/Hostname listed in the Single Sign-On URLs for EDR you will need to install a new certificate with the IP/Hostname you wish to be listed as the CN of the certificate.  For additional information on creating and importing certificates into EDR, please see the document linked below. 

Please note, if the EDR certificate is changed then the SSO certificate will need to be re-downloaded and provided to the IdP.
