Issue/Introduction

There appears to be excess CPU consumption for the CA7 idash component running on the mainframe. The task is consistently the top CPU consumer on the LPAR and by a wide margin.  Any suggestions for configuration changes that may alleviate the high CPU consumption?

Environment

Release : 12.0

Resolution

High CPU can occur when the CA7 iDash Task can't connect to the idash server which can cause the seed data extract to attempt many retries and spike CPU consumption.
