Issue/Introduction

After applying the steps listed in the OC logon fails with all users ; Error - Invalid Credentials article, the WASP and spooler probes do not start (probes are reporting red status)

Generally, the issue may happen when you modify "log on as" property of a Nimsoft Watcher Service (you specify a user that the service should use to log on).

Environment

Release : UIM 20.x/ 23.4

Cause

The issue is caused by missing user rights to a Nimsoft installation Folder.

Resolution

Make sure, that the user used for "log on as" configuration, has full control of the Nimsoft directory folder.

Once the user obtains full control permission to a Nimsoft folder, restart the robot and now both probes should start correctly.

NOTE: after modifying the user's membership, you need to log out and log back in, to reset the Kerberos ticket and let the new membership settings kick in.
