Yesterday, performing my daily CSM 'Get Latest Maintenance' for the "CA Datacom/DB - MVS: 15.1" product, five new components were added to the 18 components that had been checked the previous day:
CA MAINFRAME RESOURCE INTELLIGENCE BASE ASSESSMENT
CA MAINFRAME RESOURCE INTELLIGENCE ECONOMIC CAPACITY OPTIMIZ
CA MAINFRAME RESOURCE INTELLIGENCE ECONOMIC CAPACITY METRICS
CA MAINFRAME RESOURCE INTELLIGENCE PLATFORM CUSTOMIZATIONS
With the latter downloading several PTFs into the product entry (all with an "Installed" status of 'No CSI available'). Those five components did not appear on Wednesday. There is evidence that the Sysview solutions are for release 17.0 (FMID: CNM4H00)
As far as I know, we did nothing to our CSM configuration between Wednesday and yesterday, so I am wondering what changed. The new downloads are not causing me any issues, I am just curious as to why a product like Sysview (and the others I have never even heard off) are connected to Datacom/DB...
Release : 6.1
SYSVIEW Mainframe Essentials is now included in MF packaging, and thus why customers will now see this (SYSVIEW and MRI even if they are not licensed for these).
