smsgtw probe does not see modem on UIM 20.4, works on 8.51

Issue/Introduction

We are trying use smsgtw on UIM 20.4 on windows 2016 but the probe can't find our modem. The PC can successfully test and dial out from the modem.

The same configuration is working on UIM 8.5.1 with the probe running on Windows 2012r2

Cause

SMSgtw is not currently supported on Windows 2016/2019/10

Resolution

As per_ DX UIM Probes Support Matrix (broadcom.com)

Additional Information

The Dev. team is working on certifying the probe to be able to run on Windows 2016/2019 and 10. 

As of December 2022 there is no ETA on when this will be delivered.
