Issue/Introduction

After upgrading the standalone IM from 14.3 to 14.4 CP1 version, we arenot able to see the Azure connector from the Create Endpoint selection list.

Environment

Release : 14.4

Cause

Please check if the Azure connector is available in the management console.
The customer confirmed Azure is available in roles and tasks. The definitions are already imported.

Please check if the scope for this user includes the endpoint type.
The customer confirmed Admin Role scope is the same as the screenshot below.

Please check if Azure jar file exist in the iam_im.ear file.
C:\Users\Administrator\EAP-7.2.0\standalone\deployments\iam_im.ear\user_console.war\WEB-INF\lib

Was it imported into the management console?
Please check for XML in management console > Environments > identityEnv > Role and Task Settings > Import

The customer confirmed the Azure.jar do exist at the designated folder and also the Azure roles and definitions are imported.

 


Please check in CA provisioning directory if you can see Azure.

The customer is not able to see Azure container in the Provisioning Directory.

Resolution

After importing the Azure subtree from the Production Provisioning directory to the QA Provisioning directory, the customer is able to see the Azure endpoint type in both IM and Provisioning Manager.
