Issue/Introduction

AUTOSYS SMTP E-Mail Notification Configurations not working.

Failing with the below error message.

[11/29/2022 05:47:52]     CAUAJM_I_20216 Email notification pending for job <XXX>.
[11/29/2022 05:48:00]     ----------------------------------------
[11/29/2022 05:48:13]     CAUAJM_E_20214 Email notification failed for job <XXX>. Detail information <Couldn't connect to server>.

Environment

Release : 11.3.6 SP8 and R 12.0

Cause

Product limitation

Resolution

Broadcom support only NON-SSL communication for SMTP communications.

We don't support SSL and TLS from our side yet, We recommend you use NON-SSL SMTP communications. With the port number 25.

We use the below communication for internal testing purposes from Broadcom's side.
