Error message: Management Center's key is not trusted by the device

Issue/Introduction

Management Center displays the following error:

 

Environment

• Management Center relies on SSH key to authenticate

Cause

SSH key used by Management Center to authenticate is not trusted by the proxy. To check list of keys proxy trusts, please connect to management console of your proxy and navigate to Configuration -> Authentication -> SSH Inbound Connections -> SSH Client Keys -> Search for "management-center" key

Resolution

To resolve the issue, please do the following:

1. Connect to your Management Center
2. Click on Network
3. Click on a name of problematic device
4. Change tab to Connection Parameters
5. Click on Credentials
6. Change Username from management-center to admin (There's no need to specify admin password; other fields may remain empty)
7. Click on Public Key
8. Provide enable password
9. Click Connect
10. You should be prompted to provide credentials
11. Type in admin credentials and click Submit
