Issue/Introduction

NCM Global Sync Task is not listing anymore.

Environment

Spectrum 21.X

Cause

Tomcat Cache issue

Resolution

1. Login as install owner or User with Administartor access in Spectrum and check the privileges.
Below are the OOTB privileges for NCM:


2. If privileges are intact, take a restart of OC tomcat and delete the cache.

Below are the steps for same:

  •   Stop the OC tomcat process from $SPECROOT/tomcat/bin:  

          ./stopTomcat.sh

  •  Delete the $SPECROOT/tomcat/work folder:   

           rm -r $SPECROOT/tomcat/work

  •  Start the OC tomcat process from $SPECROOT/tomcat/bin:  

          ./startTomcat.sh

Now launch New OC client and check for Global Sync task.
