WSSA error: TCP connection to...failed

Issue/Introduction

What does the WSSA error message mean that shows on the WSS Agent Status page: 

"TCP connection to...failed" (10054)

Resolution

This message means that the WSSA client tried to connect to the first data-center VIP in the list returned by CTC (Cloud Traffic Controller) but that the WSSA client was not able to make a TCP connection to that first data-center, so the client tried to connect to the next data-center VIP in its connection list. 

In this particular case, the second data-center connection was successful and the WSSA client is active and protected.
