Device models cannot be found in any of the Universe Topologies in Spectrum OneClick

Issue/Introduction

We have several device models that cannot be found in any containers within the Universe Topology.

These device can be found in Global Collections but not in any containers.

Environment

Release : Any
Component: OneClick

Cause

The Collects association has been removed between the device model and the Topology container model.

Ways this can happen:

- The Collects association was removed by either the Command Line Interface (CLI) or the API

- A user right mouse clicked on the model and selected Cut from the menu

- A use right mouse clicked on the model and selected Remove from the menu

Resolution

To correct this;

- Navigate to the Global Collection where this device is found

- Right mouse click on the model and select Copy from the menu

- Navigate to the Topology container where the device should reside

- Right mouse click within the Topology container and select Paste from the menu
