Risk Authentication Quova data upload fails with error - SQLExecute() did not return SQL_SUCCESS

Issue/Introduction

We are observing the below error message when we upload the Quova data.

CA Risk Authentication

Resolution

Beginning April 1st, 2022, the Neustar (formerly Quova) data will be available in format v7, and the existing v6 format will no longer be updated. Symantec Advanced Authentication 9.1 is updated to accept the latest Neustar Quova v7 data format.

The v7 data format provides one file for all geolocation and anonymizer data. To begin using the v7 data format, you must install the new download utility, available on the Symantec Support download center. The download utility is updated to support the Neustar v7 data format on Advanced Authentication v9.1, including all service packs. Versions of Advanced Authentication prior to 9.1 are EOS.

The existing Neustar download tool, which supports the Quova data v6 format, continues to work. However, Neustar will not update the data in v6 format after April 1st, 2022. No Neustar data updates will be provided in v6 format going forward.

 

Arrfupload is a command-line utility that enables you to upload data files to the Risk Authentication database. The Nuestar v7 data format includes only one file (arcot_v7.csv) which contains all of the geopoint and anonymizer information. Since the Neustar data v7 format file contains more entries than the v6 version, you may experience an increase in the execution time and memory consumption on the database server machine for the arrfupload operation.

You should have a minimum of 50 GB of free space in the database server machine connected to the Advanced Authentication server.

 

The issue observed in logs comes when there is less space in Database and DB space need to be increased to address the issue.
