CA Service Operations Insight (SOI)

Issue/Introduction

Down alerts are not received when cleared from the console in the cleared alarm history tab.  They are also not getting showing up in the database end.

 

Environment

Release : 4.2

Resolution

Follow the below steps:-

  • Restart the SOI services as per the recommendations
    Reference KB article Procedure to start SOI Manager & Connector Services
    • After the stopping the SOI Services. Please cleanup the below folders:
      1. CA\SOI\tomcat\temp
      2. CA\SOI\apache-activemq\data\
      3. CA\SOI\tomcat\log
      4. CA\SOI\tomcat\work\catalina\localhost
      5. CA\SOI\SamUI\work\catalina\localhost
      6. CA\SOI\SamUI\temp
  • Close the browser and SOI console.
  • Re-login the SOI UI server and relaunch the console.
