Issue/Introduction

To recall tapes from an offsite vault using the Vault Management System (VMS).

Environment

CA/1 R14.0

Resolution

1. change the DSN statements to have ",REDEFINED" at the end

2. change the V= to V=LIBR,EXP 

   e.g. from the VPDS (Vault Pattern Data Set):
   DSN=ABC.DEF-,REDEFINED
   V=LIBR,EXP            

    

3. run vaulting once and this will bring them all back to the library

4. remove the pattern from the VPDS.
