Issue/Introduction

Delete all old software images on an Edge Secure Web Gateway (formerly ProxySG) appliance.

Environment

Only applies to Edge SWG appliances that manage their own images.

Does not apply to Edge SWG applications running on an ISG host as the images are managed by the host OS.

Resolution

The following Management Center script can be used to remove the images.

This works as the currently running image, regardless of its position in the list, will fail to delete.

 

NOTE    The commands are issued in the configure terminal mode.
