VIP Enterprise Gateway manual upgrade fails with message "Usage: actionScript.bat Package_Location Patch_Ver..."

Issue/Introduction

Manual upgrade of the VIP Enterprise Gateway fails with:

Usage:
        actionScript.bat Package_Location Patch_Version
        Package_Location - Location of the Extracted patch directory. (Eg: C:\temp\vipeg_patch_windows)
        Patch_Version - Version to be applied.(Eg: 9.8.0)

Cause

VIP Enterprise Gateway install location is not set or not accurate.

Resolution

Follow the steps in the Upgrading to VIP Enterprise Gateway 9.10.1 manually on Windows guide. Specific to the 9.10.1 upgrade, open an administrator command prompt and run this command prior to running the upgrade:

set "VRSN_MAUTH_HOME="C:\Program Files (x86)\Symantec\VIP_Enterprise_Gateway""

Note: Whenever possible, use the LiveUpdate feature within the Enterprise Gateway settings to perform the upgrade automatically.
