Issue/Introduction

I am unable to configure the agent in Jboss and Wldfly due to the multiple jvm settings requirements:

-Djboss.modules.system.pkgs=org.jboss.byteman,com.wily,com.wily.*
-Djboss.modules.system.pkgs=org.jboss.logmanager,org.jboss.byteman,com.wily,com.wily.*
-Djava.util.logging.manager=org.jboss.logmanager.LogManager
-Xbootclasspath/p:%JBOSS_HOME%\modules\org\jboss\logmanager\main\jboss-logmanager-1.2.2.GA.jar;%JBOSS_HOME%\modules\org\jboss\logmanager\log4j\main\jboss-logmanager-log4j-1.0.0.GA.jar;%JBOSS_HOME%\modules\org\apache\log4j\main\log4j-1.2.16.jar %JAVA_OPTS%
-Dcom.wily.org.apache.commons.logging.Log=com.wily.org.apache.commons.logging.impl.NoOpLog

A similar kind of steps is included in the Agent packages generated from ACC

Can this be simplified?

Environment

Release : 22.1

Cause

Techdocs defect : DE551787 - Techdocs - Jboss agent SaaS installation simplification
ACC defect         : DE551866 - Update jboss/wildlfy installation template with the latest simplification improvements.

Resolution

Starting from latest 22.8, Jboss/Wildfly agent can be enabled by simply adding the -javaagent option like other java agent.

-javaagent:$AGENT_HOME/Agent.jar
