Issue/Introduction

On a new Dollar Universe installation or activation of the Manager for SAP on Windows, the SAP Engine (process unisapmanager.exe) fails to start or crashes producing an error like below when executing it:

The code execution cannot proceed because MSVCP120.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem

Environment

Release : 6.x and 7.x

Component: Dollar Universe

Sub-Component: Manager for SAP Solutions

OS: Windows only

Cause

Missing information in the documentation about the prerequisites needed on Windows.

Resolution

Before attempting to Install or Activating the Manager for SAP on Windows, it's necessary to install these libraries

Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013

Since version 6.10.21, as only the WINDOWS64 kit is available, the only version needed is the 64bit: vcredist_x64.exe

As soon as you install it, the Manager for SAP should be able to start without any error.
