Issue/Introduction
TSSFAR failed because the user running the job did not have UPDATE permission to the backup secfile.
Why does this utility need UPDATE access to the file?
Environment
Release : 16.0
Resolution
TSSFAR will lock the file upon which it executes so the access UPDATE is just necessary to get the lock.
