"XCOMM1193E ERROR JOINING PLEXQ" during file transmission

Issue/Introduction
Problem with file transmission in an XCOM job batch. The job failed with completion code (RC) 0020 and the following error message:
XCOMM1193E ERROR JOINING PLEXQ ...
Environment
Release : 12.0
Resolution
Job log shows:
"XCOMM1193E ERROR JOINING PLEXQ GROUP ..."
"XCOMM0448E SCHEDULE EXECUTION BYPASSED BECAUSE PREVIOUS TRANSFER FOR SAME LU ENDED WITH VTAM ERROR"
Around same time as job log errors, XCOM STC log showed:
"XCOMM1114E PLEXQ TIMEOUT, ABORTING ¥RECEIVE OF RESPONSE"
Apply these missing PTFs to resolve the problem:
a. PTF SO06213 ("XCOMM1193E ERRORS MAY OCCUR FOR XCOMJOB BATCH PROCESSING") which updates module XCOMHVTQ.
b. 5 PTFs SO15134, SO06211, SO04845, RO98942, RO97934 with fixes to module XCOMPLEX, which is the XCOM PLEXQ module.
The alternative to applying the 6 separate PTFs would be to apply the 12.0.01 level set PTF LU04573 (XCOM™ Data Transport® for z/OS 12.0 > Release Notes > New Features)
