Undefined Error When Accessing Modern UX

Issue/Introduction

When accessing the Modern UX, users get generic error message "Undefined"

Browser trace shows error: API-1035 : Could not load attachment

The APP logs show error:

Environment

Release : 16.0.3

Resolution

This is due to a refresh of environments where the filestore is not included within the database and is external. The file store can no longer be referenced, such as a refresh of PROD to a lower environment.

The resolution is to copy the filestore to the target location/environment.

Alternatively, if the filestore was copied, the following workaround may help or run the Job Index contents and documents for searches if not run already

  • Open the MUX, and go to the Administration "System Settings".
  • From "Branding" upload a logo.
  • After uploaded, then click the "Delete" button to remove the logo, and restore to default.
  • The original error should now be cleared up.
