Spectrum Connector - Failed to Initialize

Issue/Introduction

We see that the Spectrum connector is not coming Online, tried restarting the services with no luck.

 

Error: Connector error occurred, failed  to Initialize.

Release : 4.2

Cause

According to the Spectrum connector log, it looks like permission to access the Spectrum Server is no longer there since it was working til 11/17.

 

The Spectrum connector log show this message

[CA:00005_XXXX@XXXX],11-18-22 22:51:59,INFO  initialize               :3624  Connector host may not have permissions to connect to Spectrum Server
[CA:00005_Spectrum-XXXX@XXXX],11-18-22 22:51:59,ERROR initialize               :3683  Failed to Initialize the Connector:

Resolution

We opened the Spectrum Control Panel and selected Host Security.  The Spectrum connector hostname was not in the Server List, so we added and restart the Spectrum connector service.
