Can Rsyslog be configuration for Silverpeak syslogs and forwarded to Spectrum?

Release : 10.4.3 and greater

Resolution

Spectrum only supports the standard syslog trap messages.

Silverpeak devices do not use a standard syslog message format.

In order for Rsyslog to process these traps, you will need to create a custom filter and a custom message parser to parse the Silverpeak syslog message into a standard syslog message format and then send the syslog trap to Spectrum for processing.
