ACF2, How to activate a GSO INFODIR stored on an alternate SYSID?

Issue/Introduction

There are INFODIR records for a generic masked SYSID(****) and another INFODIR for a specific  SYSID(SYSY).

How can the use the SYSUD(****) GENERIC one rather than the specific SYSID(SYSY) on the lapr running with SYSY?(like other production lpars).

What is the best safest way to remove the LPAR specific sysid(SYSY) infodir record?

Resolution

In order to use the SYSID(****) GENERIC INFODIR record(like other production lpars), on the SYSY lpar you can issue the command:

F ACF2,REFRESH(INFODIR),SYSID(****).

The safest way to remove the LPAR specific INFODIR SYSID(SYSY) you can issue the following commands on any of the lpars that share the ACF2 databases.

ACF
SET CONTROL(GSO), SYSID(SYSY)
LIST INFODIR
* Verify that only the SYSY / INFODIR is displayed
DELETE INFODIR
