Issue/Introduction
xcomd service fails to start
It only shows message "error 2 - The system cannot find the file specified"
Trying to take traces from the xcomd service, nothing is produced.

Cause
xcomd should start to write trace data right after startup. If no trace is produced, it must be suspected that Windows fails to start xcomd
Resolution
Ensure that the path to program xcomd.exe is correct. It must be specified without quotes. Enclosing the name within quotes will trigger the error.
The path is stored in the Windows registry in key \HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\xcomdsrv\ImagePath.
