Team Allocations data provider based portlets throw an error when dates are used as a filter field

Issue/Introduction

SUMMARY: When creating a portlet using the Team Allocations Data Provider and filtering on Date, an error is thrown for Contact System Administrator and the filter does not work.


STR:
Note: You can make an instance portlet on the Project instance as well.

1. Create a Grid Portlet with instance type General and use the Team Allocations Data Provider
2. Layout fields:  Investment, Start
3. Filter fields:  Investment, Start
4. Make the filter as expanded and also allow Power Filter
5. Add this portlet to a general page or on a tab
   - If you have a lot of data select on Options to Do not show results to after filter
6. Select a Start Date using the Date Picker
 - Typing in date behaves the same way
7. Click Filter

Expected Result:  Filter returns the results
Actual Result:  Filter thows an error

Using the same Field in power filter works.

Workaround:  Create the date filter in a power filter
