Specifying directory location for Search Server during RU installation

Issue/Introduction
Trying to install Patch CA SDM 17.3.0.18 but the installer shows Search Server path Installation Directory from C:\Program Files\CA\SC\CASearchServer and the original path is in D:\CA\CASearchServer.
Does this impact the installation? Can we change the path location for the RU?

Resolution
the given RU update will install a new instance of Search Server, release 7.16.2, at the above location and the older location at D:\CA\CASearchServer will no longer have an active Search Server implementation.
Additionally, per our documentation, the option to denote the location of Search Server install directory is available during initial product installation. However, with the RU's, the Search Server install directory location is standardised to the given installation directory.
