API Error - Bad Request

Issue/Introduction

We are using CAS API for sandboxing. For some of the files API is returning Bad Request error. We would like to find the root cause and resolve this issue.

 

Environment

Release : 3.1.4.1/3.1.5.1/3.1.5.2/3.1.6.0/3.1.7.0

Resolution

For the reported "BadRequest" error, please be informed that this is not a CAS error but one from the REST API, which would also return a 400 http code. Please note that this error is generic, with REST API. 

Bad request status code indicates that the server was unable to process the request due to invalid information sent by the client. In other words, the client request needs modification.
