Issue/Introduction

Please confirm whether UIM robot is compatible with Redhat9, Redhat10 versions?

Also please confirm whether it is compatible with Ubuntu 22.x?

Environment

Release :20.4.x, 23.4.x

Resolution

Starting with robot 9.36 released with 20.4CU4, UIM has switched to GLibC based certification which means going forward any newer version of linux distro released would be implicitly certified in case Distro supports particular gLibC.  Also note that for Redhat, the chkconfig and initscripts packages are also a requirement.

Please see links below:

Additional Information

Your UIM 20.4 installation does not need to be on CU4 to take advantage of the CU4 robot release with the newer linux operating systems. Probes are certified with new operating systems via their normal probe cadence update process.
