Issue/Introduction

SCOM is a suite of software used for monitoring, configuring, deploying, and managing the many components of a Windows-based IT infrastructure. SCOM is used by IT departments to monitor the performance and availability of applications, devices, and servers simultaneously, and display the findings on a single console.  Can you run a SCOM agent on Security Analytics?

Resolution

Running a SCOM agent on Security Analytics is not supported.  Your best option is to use remote syslog or SNMP, both of which are well documented in the Security Analytics administration documents.
