Rally: how to deactivate the behavior of changing user story status based on task status

Issue/Introduction

When we create any tasks under the user story, it has been observed that the user story status is changing according to the task status.

Also, the same thing happens even though when a user story is blocked.

is there any way to change the configuration/settings to avoid the status change of the user story according to the task status?

Resolution

Auto State Updates (Project/Subscription)

This feature controls whether changing the task state also changes the parent schedule state.

So, please uncheck Auto State Updates as shown in the screenshot, this will help you break the task's workflow in your project section.
